A lot of times my internet drops the chat, but then comes right back. This time it just didn't come back. The internet service here stinks, but it is literally the only company in my area, no other options.

I’m quite enjoying this April’ challenge. Enriching my already daily practice. I should be able to make it now, since you are five hours ahead of time. 🤍

I’m planning on being with you, tomorrow, Adam. So far, this has been something amazing and exhilarating! I’m continuing work on other poems, too, some long ones. The value in this month is inestimable! I think everyone must feel some level of energy and zest because of it!

You’re not alone, that’s what I first thought when I read it. I was like what it’s only April 7.

I knew I must be tire when my brain was thinking how it has been two weeks in 8 days. Like it actually was and I wasn't counting right, or something. LOL

I feel grand! The poem-a-day hasn’t worn me out or in any way disengaged me! I feel like it’s just plain, good practice. I’m in a situation where I don’t work, so for those of you who do (which I think might be everyone) I can understand and empathize. I can tell you, without this group, I’d still write poetry; however, it’s not the same. the creativity is through the roof!

Every art based call I have ever been on if always talk about everything but art. LOL I will be there next time then. Do you have a set time or is it up in the air until day of?

Yes, it has been really great! I always wish I could give feedback, but I am still so fresh at the poetry, I just don't know enough to feel like I should be telling anyone what they might change. But I love seeing everyone's own take on the same prompt.

I never read anyone's work from the days prompt until I have written mine. I feel like I might be influenced if I read others first, and want that fresh take on the prompt.

Not necessarily critiquing. But simple feedback on how you experience the poem is always nice. I do the same thing, I get the prompt. And I write before I come back to post. I don’t want to be influenced by other people‘s work. And the irony/ironic part the collective consciousness seems to flow heavy with similar words. It used to trip me out, but now I have accepted it to be part of life 🥀

I was thinking something different each day, but yes I think this might be a fun prompt to start with!
