Such a great livestream today...I loved the chat with everyone SO much. I am now needing poetry escape rooms in my life. And buried treasure. And I also need Crypids to be real and more footage of Giant Colossal Squid...which has nothing to do with the livestream but everything to do with where my mind went when we started talking about Knights Templar. I don't know why. lol. I think there should be an escape room made for every favorite poet based on their poems...I wonder what your fav poets are, and what mysterious rooms could be created from their writings...Or your own (insert spooky sound)😋

I am reading Australia poets you won’t have heard of but Sameul Taylor Coleridge, something with a European flavour given his desire to bring European rhyming structures into English poetry but I have to work on being practical. Also the space would have fantastic ethereal creatures because the poor blighter was addicted to opiates. Large albatross and marine themes.
I definitely think we are on to a winner with Poe.
Hmm, one for Shakespeare. There’s a very easy one revolves around Romeo and Juliet of course, but that’s not his poetry…
Perhaps one around solving his true identity? If we’re going to continue down the pathway of the stream, perhaps you're in his townhouse in London, Shakespeare is away to Stratford and the Queen’s inquisition (that’s us) are sneaking around his townhouse trying to determine the true identity… some of the men (actors) mutter about their belief that they have been sent on a fools errand because Shakespeare is actually the queen and this is her effort to distance herself from the conspiracy. They are then dragged off to the Tower of London for being a traitor to the crown. We could also have an appearance from Marlowe, who is considered the first James Bond!
😂😂😂 my imagination ran away with me there
