I also used to listen to "Somebody Like You" on my old Zen Nano mp3 player all the time while riding on the school bus.

I was a loner (still am?) back in those days, so this was my go-to daydreaming song. Especially when certain girls used to get on, I just never had to nerve to say anything. Definitely was a shy person those days.

@Ken Merchant I'm really sorry to hear about that Ken. No need to apologise! I don't mind hearing a long story provided the person is comfortable enough to share. I went through something very similar where I was 99% sure my partner was cheating on me but the thought of discovering that at the time would have ripped my soul apart, so I'm glad I didn't find out back then. One thing I know for certain is that you're far better off without them. Living with them after learning about that kind of thing would be self-torture.

Mandolin Orange's rendition reminded me of Fleetwood Mac's rendition of Landslide, so I just had to share it. This one hits close to home for me too! Always a tear-jerker.

Oh, and there's always Tracy Byrd's "Keeper of the Stars" too! This one is a classic.

I think Ed Sheeran is criminally underrated.

This dude is one of the fewest artists that doesn't feel generic.

Especially with songs like I See Fire from The Hobbit,Perfect and

River with Eminem.

Only saying those since both are my favorite songs that feature Ed Sheeran,although he has written quality music over the years.

Not to rain on any Swiftie fans, but this song was actually originally Ed Sheeran's. It was released on his Equals (=) album last year, but him and TayTay recently teamed up to remake some of his songs with her rendition of them introduced this year. Either way, I absolutely adore this song!

@Bendy Nguyen I wouldn't say he's underrated. I think he's got quite a significant following but I do like how he sticks to his sound. I saw him live in 2018 and his shows are amazing because he makes ever sound himself right in the moment. It's fascinating.

Inital thoughts:This video looks like it came from the 60s.

Perhaps that's part of songs charm.

@Ken Merchant From someone that has suffer depression for a VERY long time,especially in my current episode,I just want to say thank you for sharing.

Its very difficult to show one's suffering.

And a song like this can give people strength to keep going.

@Bendy Nguyen Definitely! For me it is very therapeutic to just express it in a productive and positive way. So I usually get lost in music and tune out the world when I'm in the swing of things. Sometimes I try to do chores around the house to or workout (in the warmer months) because I read in some medical article once that exercise releases tension. For me just letting everything out rather than keeping it bottled up has proven to be the most difficult thing to accept, but I've been practicing it for the last two years and it has worked out in my favor tremendously.
