Hey everyone! So I’ve had the radio on in the background most hours since it launched as I work. We only have about an hour and 40 minutes at the moment (so do get submitting). I’ve heard @Rob Edwards Sonnet play a few times, but I find myself reciting it! And I hear it in my head before going to sleep now too! Good job Rob! It’s a very catchy tune you use with your poem!

So with that, I wondered what you all thought is important when reading your poems!

I haven't read my stuff outside of my house. I'm going to get a little lapel mic and record some. I might submit one or two to the radio.

My answer from back then would be alot longer,so I'm grateful for this new answer as this reminds me to PLAY and ENJOY my performances!!!!!!!!!!!

@Rob Edwards Oh man,I have fun at those virtual open mics.Probably prefer them alot more than physical open mics.Two reasons:Traffic and exact same preparation as physical ones.

Hi Adam

I'm chuffed you like the tune I recite my poem to. I practiced it a few times, listening back until I thought it sounded menacing.

How do I get to a link for the radio broadcast its on?

I can't work out which one it is on the page.

I always try to find a rhythm when I'm reading poetry, I think it helps to get into the poets/ authors mind.
