About
I began as a classically trained pianist and then found my calling as a psychotherapist and educator. I have a great day job as an academic advisor at Hunter College in New York City where I enjoy working with a delightfully diverse group of students. After leaving my beloved city in July 2020 (it just was not safe), I moved to a nearby suburb my husband, daughter and 17- year- old cat. West Harrison is a lovely suburb within commuting distance to NYC and I find inspiration from the magnificent window views from our upstairs apartment. I write and read poetry every chance I get, and I am beginning to see myself as a poet. I speak up and write about my causes: Social justice, human rights, animal rights and people I love. I love to laugh and during the worst of quarantine, I found relief in watching Randy Rainbow videos on YouTube. He is one hilarious dude who writes and produces musical parodies from his New York City apartment. I am now a fan. 😊
