The last cooking show I watched on Netflix was with Paris Hilton, and that had a happy ending.

While I have written since childhood, these include movie scripts, short stories, and comic book scripts. It wasn't until 2014 that I realised I was a poet.

I go back and forth with this. Laureates are crucial for showcasing language, for the most part. And in today's world, when kids are reading less and gaming more, keeping language alive is vital. But a Laureate most be active and immortalising today's world in their words.

I wasn't aware of this issue until the recent episode of Conversing with Poets. I am deeply concerned that Aliza has, at present, managed to bypass copyright law and profit from other people's work. Of course, I am upset for those directly affected by this despicable act of theft, but also for the rest of us in the poetry community. I can't accept that this is merely an isolated case, and as a consequence, we should all be mindful that while posting work, this is widespread, and exposing Aliza is not close to scratching the surface of an awful practice. As a community of poets, we should embrace Adam's perseverance in shedding light on those who would dare infringe our intellectual property, repackage it, and present it as their own.

That's true. Every time I read it, I am left speechless. It is a fantastic piece of poetry.

With the Raven being my favourite poem, I thought I would add the opening line to it. It is such a great line. Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary

I wish it didn't happen at all, but beggars can't be choosers. I think because I don't write poetry every day, it helps.

I don't get writer's block as much with poetry as when I write fiction. It happens, but not quite as frequently. I am thankful for that.
