Yes I would be happy for that. But you pick them out and ask me what I think. You have to be comfortable reading them, and only 1 have heard with headphones on so I'm not sure how they sound. I was thinking of an edit but I think I want this thread to remain a record of the month as it happened. Get ready for lots of activity on the feedback thread

The commitment to write 30 poems in 30 days! Thank you Adam for managing this process for us, providing daily prompts and inspiration. I know you've got a lot going on and I appreciate the time you spent with us.

I wish I had taken time to plan out the month's writing, but I have a body of work. And very grateful for that. If truth be known, I worked on a total of 85 pieces in the month. Worked on, not written in total in the month. I neglected everything else, for which I will pay a price. 😁

You did it Herb! Proud of you mate! Yes it really does take some psyching up beforehand, so the fact you just jumped on is a testament to your willingness!

I think if I had planned for this through March I would have convinced myself I couldn't do it. It has been that much of a change in my head.

Stalling isn't stopping. Had to revisit the loise bourgoise exhibition. Your correct this is breaking another wall in hoe I write poetry, 'just write it, it is good enough wall'

Not aimed at anyone particular. Just throwing out an injection of motivation just in case someone out there needs a bit of a pep talk

To be honest, which I'm always... let's not go there (storyteller here). Yesterday felt like a bathtub where all ideas drained into the septic tank and I watched them spiral, out of mind.

I am with you Herb. However, you are inspiring so there is hope. I am still enjoying the challenge of just writing a poem relatively quickly and come what may. Catching the tail end of the spiral is ok, May will happen and you can come back to them. I am on holidays and was going to cheat and go back and edit before the end of April. Particularly my poem on the grub; this was both predictable ( who wants to prove Harold Bloom correct, he wis a prick) and because the point to the poem isn't written. Take heart you are a skilled writer

I don't think I think I waste people's time, by my aspiration was to play in the section. I listen to establishing yourself and it is such a complex of different skill sets. I intend to come back to each of them and tidy them up.

Adam mentioned something about down loading and sending as a pdf. Do you mean a chap book of only your work?

Documentaries are a great source of inspiration and motivation. I might have to throw one on myself

Well, I find myself in the catch-up position. But that's ok. I scratched a few tidbits this morning. I'll see if I can make something from them. I like the prompts and might, or might not, use them. 😁

Your prompts are great. Are these from a book? As great as your prompts are you should look at images not words because you are doing other things to excite your conscious deliberations, words are unlikely to break your thought patterns. This is largely my projections onto you, but I hope it is useful. Can you access three d images? The computer generated ones were popular in the 1990's? Australian aboriginals (first nation persons) can paint them without the compute, the human mind is amazing. Don't worry just let the poems come when they do

I’ve been so caught up in shipping my new chapbook to people I’ve fallen behind but have a lot of spare time today to try and catch up 😀

You have amazing talent. Just let what happens happen. This whole month is an exercise in minimal editing. If it's not fun don't do it.
